Last update: 22 September, 2023

Dancers Space is a digital platform that is designed for all dancers, dance businesses, and dance lovers (hereinafter referred to as "We", "Dancers", "Platform").

This document explains how we at Dancers handle confidential information and why you should not worry about the protection of your personal data.

Why we need your personal data

The company's website collects personal information for the purpose of improving understanding of customer needs, enhancing the quality of services provided, informing about the offered services and significant changes in the company's activities, as well as for conducting marketing and statistical research. This also allows for the ability to contact users.

What is considered personal data

Personal data refers to information related to a user that allows their identity to be determined. This includes name, surname, location data, physical characteristics (age, gender, etc.) and social aspects (profession, dance direction and experience, etc.).

According to current legislation, data processing includes any actions related to your personal information. Such actions include collection, organization, recording, storage, use, structuring, transmission of information in any manner, and more.

What information does Dancers collect

Dancers collects, processes, and stores information that the user voluntarily provides through login forms on the website and questionnaires for specific types of services, which the user can learn about in detail on our platform.

We may collect information about:

  • name and surname;
  • email;
  • company name;
  • geographical presence of the client's product;
  • client's dance experience.

This is an incomplete list, which may be expanded or reduced in the future.

Who has access to your data

Our Platform operates not autonomously but thanks to a qualified team. To ensure high-quality services, we involve employees and cooperate with independent contractors. In connection with this, some of your personal data may be transferred to third parties or external services (for example, mailing services).

Data retention period

Dancers stores user data only as long as necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected.

The Platform stores information about clients throughout the entire cooperation period. Then, this data is archived and backed up. Deleting some data is impossible, such as information from tax documents, records, data in comprehensive backups, etc.

How we ensure the protection of personal data

At Dancers, we implement both technical and organizational measures to protect the personal information of our users/clients from illegal processing, unauthorized access, and accidental loss or damage. We continuously improve our personal data security measures to meet the latest technological advancements.

Technical protection measures

We store passwords in specialized programs and apply two-factor authentication wherever possible. On the Platform's website, we use the secure data transmission protocol – HTTPS – to ensure the security of information storage. Platform data storage is carried out using reliable hosting providers and additional software to protect servers.

Organizational protection measures

At Dancers, we have implemented a system of signing non-disclosure agreements for confidential information among our employees and contractors. These agreements detail the rights and obligations regarding personal data protection.

We do not disclose personal information about users, which may harm them. Exceptions are cases when we agreed with the Client to publish this information, or it is already public.

We conduct systematic briefings with our employees on the protection of users'/clients' personal data. We have separated areas of responsibility and functional duties among employees to prevent instances of important data being available to many employees without necessity. We also provide employees with limited access and regularly review the relevance of issued access permissions. We do not transfer personal data of our users/clients to third parties, except in cases where such data provision is required by competent state authorities in accordance with applicable laws.
